Prepare the desk and its power supply
A camp research desk is used to study artifacts and can yield useful craftables. When planning a research stop, make access to the desk part of your preparations.
Research can drain camp power while it runs. The Utility Wasp, a fuel generator and researched solar panels provide supply options; choose equipment you have available and check the Hub panel during the task.
Research an artifact at camp
- Read the item's current instructions to decide whether research is the next action for your objective.
- Check the Hub panel before starting research so you can identify whether camp power is available.
- Study an artifact at the camp research desk to gain knowledge that can unlock useful craftables.
