Start with the current gate console
Don't assume the lever is in the nest above the highway gate in Early Access; that location belongs to the Demo route. Check the current gate console's displayed requirements before collecting repair supplies.
Check what your gate repair needs
- Read the requirements displayed on the gate console to identify the supplies requested by your current game.
- Compare the displayed list with your inventory to work out what you still need before leaving to collect supplies.
Recognize the older Demo instructions
The Demo placed its missing PACE Lever in a large nest above the highway gate. Repairing its console required a Welder, one PACE Lever and two Wire. Activating the gate control afterward opened the route toward Rover's Hollow in the Demo.
Before following a walkthrough that uses those landmarks or quantities, check whether it covers the Demo or Early Access. Let your current console's displayed requirements guide your repair shopping list.
